MASSAGE MENU

We prefer to customize all of our massage treatments.  The menu below is a guid to help define the treatment you would like.  Please tell your therapist your likes and dislikes so that your massage can b e tailored to you.  Choose a style of music, have your table heated, select scented or fragrance-free oil, get aromatherapy on your sheets - all at no extra cost.

 

1) Ultimate Relaxation

This is a pampering massage to de-stress your mind and body. Your therapist will incorporate the long and gentle strokes of Swedish massage along with aromatherapy, soft music and a heated table to send you into a deep state of relaxation.

2) Rehab Massage

This is our signature treatment. A treatment that is very specific and targets injured muscles and associated holding patterns of the body. If you are currently receiving physical therapy and would like your massage therapist to speak with your P.T. we are happy to do so. This is the perfect adjunct to orthopedic treatments. During this treatment you will be proactive in your healing and communicate with your therapist to accomplish the most change. You may be asked to actively engage your muscles to help breakdown scar tissue and muscular adhesions.

3) Lomi Lomi

Similar to the relaxation of a Swedish massage with long full strokes encompassing groups of muscles however, in this treatment the therapist will passively move your limbs as they work. A traditional Hawaiian massage used to increase relaxation and help reconnect you to your entire body.

4) Hot Stone *

With the use of smooth volcanic stones your therapist will place stones under your body and on top of the sheet to warm areas of tension. You will then be massaged with hot oiled stones. For those who love heat or want a truly decadent spa treatment this is the massage for you.

5) The Athlete

Dating back to ancient Greece the sports massage has been an important part of the athletes training. Pre and post event massage not only keeps you feeling strong and loose but is proven to decrease the risk of injury during athletic events. Your therapist will target the muscles involved with your event and help you gain range of motion and decrease tensions. Making small structural changes with massage can help your alignment and make athletic performance easier. This treatment is highly recommended the week before your big event.

6) Deep Tissue

Working on the deep layers of the body can bring about profound change in posture, mood and energies of the body. Our therapists work slowly and with patience waiting for your body to relax into the pressure. It is this dialog with the client that makes this treatment a truly healing experience.

7) Mother to Be *

One of the things you CAN do when you’re pregnant. Receiving a massage when you’re pregnant can relieve stresses due to an ever changing body. This is a light touch treatment that has the mother to be in a side lying position as well as a multi-pillowed reclining position. A great way to show your appreciation for that special someone.

FACIALS

 

1) EQ Basic Consultation Facial

An introduction to clinical skin care, this facial treatment includes a full skin analysis and is tailored to your skin’s specific needs. It is a recommended starting point for all our clinical facials to prepare the skin for highly therapeutic skin care products.

2) Soothing Sensitive Skin Facial

A calming and restorative skin treatment for those individuals who experience redness, irritation and dryness. Using a combination of vitamins, antioxidants and growth factors, we will begin to rebalance and restore the skin’s integrity.

3) Hydrating Facial

An intense and luxurious hydrating facial for winter-parched or sun-damaged skin. A lactic acid mask adds moisture as it gently exfoliates. Vitamins A and C are infused into the skin to help restore moisture and firmness, improve skin texture and reduce irritation. Skin will be renewed, healthy, hydrated and glowing.

4) Vitamin C Revitalizing Facial

To restore radiance, this superb treatment infuses the skin with Vitamin C to improve signs of sun damage. Powerful antioxidants help re-establish the skin’s clarity and repair damage done by time and the elements. Skin will be brighter, firmer and more radiant.

5) Problematic Skin Facial

This treatment will help to purify, soothe and balance oily and acneic skin. Deep cleansing eliminates and prevents blackheads and whiteheads, dissolving plugs while helping to reduce breakouts and congestion. This facial is exfoliating, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, and leaves the skin clean, calm and refreshed.

6) Problematic Skin Facial With Peel

This treatment will help to purify, soothe and balance oily and acneic skin. Deep cleansing eliminates and prevents blackheads and whiteheads, dissolving plugs while helping to reduce congestion. 8) Resurfacing Facial

9) Age Management Resurfacing Facial

FACIAL ADD-ONS

 

The below treatments may be done as stand-alones or as add-ons to any of our facials (additional time noted).

 

1) Optional Hand & Arm Treatment

Healthy skin does not end at our necks. Our hands are true indications of our age. With this treatment you will learn how to address the visible signs of aging.

2) Lip Treatment

Combat the harsh effects of the environment, sun and time with a custom treatment to plump and refine the lips and surrounding skin. A hydrating lip mask with nourishing Vitamins A, C and antioxidants stimulate collagen production, helping to smooth and moisturize the lip area, and diminish vertical lines.

3) Eye Treatment

This treatment addresses tired eyes, crow’s feet and dark circles by de-puffing, brightening, re-hydrating and firming the delicate skin around the eyes. An infusion of Vitamin A, C and peptides along with pressure point massage help to restore a more youthful look.

2) Age Management Body Treatment Without Shower

This hydrating and exfoliating treatment consists of gentle removal of dry skin cells, followed by a penetrating massage of oils and creams containing Vitamins A, C, E and Beta-carotene. A seaweed masque remineralizes, tones and smoothes the skin. This luxurious renewal treatment provides intense hydration, tightening, firming and regeneration of new healthy skin. The result is a more youthful, smooth and rehydrated body.

3) Body Contour Treatment

A luxurious and powerful treatment that smoothes skin texture and helps to improve the appearance of cellulite. Botanical oils and clay, infused with minerals, vitamins, and fine grains of kaolin, combine to cleanse, exfoliate, and soften the skin. Firm massage and deep penetration of a body sculpturing gel help to increase lymphatic drainage and boost circulation to assist with reducing fluid retention, eliminating toxins, and increasing the breakdown of excess fat. 1) Evaluation    $85

After a brief health history questionnaire, your licensed acupuncturist will review your symptoms and goals of treatment in order to gain a full understanding of your needs.  Then your acupuncturist will perform additional tests to collect diagnostic information in order to provide the most effective and efficient treatment.  Once your acupuncturist has a clear picture of your pattern, points will be selected to begin the process of rebalancing.

 

2) Follow-up Visit    $75

Your acupuncturist will make inquiries regarding your progress since your last visit.  They will take note of any changes in signs and symptoms and treatment will proceed from there.

 

Note:  Clients are reminded to wear loose, comfortable clothing that can be rolled up above the elbows and knees.  Please be sure to eat something at least two hours before your treatment.
